We are located next to the Fashion Square Mall.  We share a wall with Neiman Marcus and are located at 6900 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale, AZ; on the northwest corner of Camelback & Goldwater.

We have special client parking in front of our glass mirrored building directly off of Camelback Rd.

  • What Financial Areas of Focus does Biro Financial/Family Wealth Advisors specialize in?

Mr. Biro specializes in all aspects a pre-retiree, professional, business owner or a retiree who is thinking about Retirement.

Usually they are Baby Boomers 55 years and older, having $250,000 or more to invest who are interested in Retirement Income Planning Solutions.

Jeff has a unique proprietary system with a step by step process which includes calculating Social Security optimization reports for those clients who are in need of this service.

His financial planning technique determines which service and/or solutions are best for his clients to help achieve their financial goals.

  • Will I be working only with you or with a team?

You will be working with Jeffrey J. Biro, President of Biro Financial & Family Wealth Advisors, LLC.

We offer comprehensive wealth management services to successful individuals and families through its team of professionals with backgrounds in financial, legal, and tax planning. 

Our team of advisors have credentials such as Certified Estate Planner and Registered Financial Consultant (Jeffrey J. Biro), Attorney and CFP® (W.Ryan Zenk).

We also have a top of the line support team that goes above and beyond, and is there to assist in any way possible.

  • What licenses credentials or other certifications do you have?

Mr. Biro has his Series 6, 63 and 65 investment registrations.

He is an RFC-Registered Financial Consultant, CEP-Certified Estate Planner and a CCPS-Certified College Planning Specialist.

Jeff also holds life and health insurance licenses and understands Medicare Parts A-B-C-D entirely.

He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1979 completing two Bachelor degrees finishing with his Masters degree (abt) in 1980.

Mr. Zenk graduated from Law School in 1989 and started his Wisconsin Law practice shortly thereafter. He has his Series 6, 63, 65, 7, and 24 investment registrations. Ryan successfully passed his CFP exam in 2008. Ryan also has his Health & life Insurance License.

  • How long have you been in business?

Mr. Biro has been practicing since 1982. Ryan Zenk, CFP since 2004. Mr. Biro alone has assisted over 5,000 families to wisely invest and protect their assets.

  • Do you accept referrals?

Most of our new clients are referred to us by our existing clients or by a trusted financial professional, such as a CPA or Attorney. 

  • How do I get started?

The set up of an introductory meeting is at no charge.

  • What can I expect in the initial consultation, and is there a fee?

There is no fee for the initial consultation. The initial consultation is just a way for us to get to know you, your desires, concerns and if we can help you.

Also, it is a very good way for you to get to know us, our values, ethics and how we invest your assets. During this time our team will put together a personal planning summary designed to help you take inventory and assign realistic values to your assets & liabilities.

It is the first essential step to organizing a sensible financial plan for your future. We will provide new insight and strategies, an outlook that reflects the current market environment to effectively maximize and protect your income-producing assets.

  • What do I need to bring to the first meeting?

For your first complementary meeting, please bring a complete listing of your assets & liabilities, any goals you desire going into or thru Retirement, your personal financial planning profile with last year’s tax returns, any Estate Planning Documents, such as Wills, Trusts and/or Powers of Attorneys. 

We ask you to also bring your spouse or significant other as well as any questions he or she may also have.

  • Are your Fees tax deductible?

Concerning your investment fees yes. The Internal Revenue Code permits an itemized deduction for tax and/or investment advice in the miscellaneous section of Schedule A.

It is subject to a 2% floor of the adjusted gross income on a personal tax return.  Please see your tax advisor for further information.

  • Should your Financial Professional be a Fiduciary?

Generally when dealing with Investments, the answer is emphatically yes.

The Financial professional should always put your interest first, not theirs.

The Licensure to be a Fiduciary is a higher standard than only a Commissioned Financial Advisor.

There are investment minimum account sizes though, so your Financial Professional should also be able to help you with small accounts which generally are not fee Based but rather Commission Based.

  • How much contact do you have with your clients?

At a minimum, we conduct semi-annual investment reviews for our investment clients and annual reviews with our insurance clients.

However, we’re here at your disposal to answer any questions or address any of your immediate concerns.
